About

Ale Iaccarino is a Los Angeles–based oil painter whose work explores the relationship between memory, nature, and the passage of time. Through layered botanical forms and shifting atmospheres, her paintings inhabit the space between observation and emotion, where figures, flowers, and landscapes become vessels for transformation.

Working primarily in oil, Iaccarino builds each painting through successive translucent layers, allowing light, texture, and gesture to emerge gradually. Inspired by the quiet drama of gardens, changing seasons, and fleeting moments in the natural world, her work balances delicacy with physicality, inviting viewers into spaces that feel both intimate and expansive.

Originally trained as a designer, Iaccarino brings a strong sense of composition and restraint to her painting practice while embracing the unpredictability of the medium. Her paintings are less about depicting specific objects than about capturing the emotional resonance they hold—the way beauty can be temporary, imperfect, and deeply human. Her work is held in private collections across the United States.
